Itinerary:

Your time in New Zealand starts with three nights in the country's biggest city, Auckland. Auckland is affectionately known by the locals as "The City of Sails". Built around a stunning harbor, this city is dominated by volcanic hills, bays, beaches and islands, giving the visitor an introduction to the natural beauty for which this small country is renowned.

After your stay in Auckland you will be taken by coach to a small city in the center of the North Island that is like no other place in the country, and indeed, few places in the world - Rotorua. Along the way to Rotorua you will stop at the world famous Waitomo Glow Worm caves for a tour, including a BBQ lunch. Rotorua, built among dramatic underground volcanic activity, will delight you with its geysers, mud pools, and pervasive Maori culture.

From Rotorua you will fly to Queenstown, nestled in the heart of the South Island. Queenstown is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty, and possesses a vibrant, exciting ambience. Admire the large lake, the aptly named "Remarkables" mountain range, get out and see many of the sites used in the making of the movie, "Lord of the Rings", and enjoy the myriad of shops, cafes and restaurants. Queenstown is proud to be New Zealand's "adventure capital" - this is where commercial bungey jumping began - and is a mecca for outdoor activities. You will have four nights in this lovely town.

Then, fly north to the largest city in the South Island, Christchurch, which considers itself "more English than England". This is born out by some of its earliest architecture and a wealth of gracious gardens and parks. Christchurch is your last port of call and a good place to do some shopping, and to enjoy excellent dining and sightseeing.
