Itinerary Outline:
Start with 4 nights in Sydney, the jewel in the crown of the South Pacific. Your accommodation is included, and airport transfers and day touring can be added.
Next, you'll fly to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef for 4 nights. There is so much to do and so much to see you'll wish you didn't have to go home.
Finally, you'll fly to Adelaide, the festival city, for 2 nights, then take a ferry to Kangaroo Island where you'll spend 2 nights discovering 'Australia in miniature' as its often called. Pristine surf beaches where fur seals and penguins make their homes give way to the lush paddocks where mobs of kangaroos can be easily seen and koalas nibble gum leaves overhead. Even the elusive platypus and echidna may be encountered.
